Pokemon Go Tip: How To Earn XP Faster & Level Up Quickly

So, you’re playing Pokémon Go, like the rest of the population, and you really feel like you aren’t progressing and leveling up as fast as you would like to. All of your friends and colleagues are powering through the levels, and you are stuck in single level figures, so just what are you going to do about it? Perhaps watch this video guide?
You could of course continue plodding on like you have been, powering up at a relatively slow pace and progressing through the ranks as and when. Or, you could of course adopt some intelligence and use your low-level Pokémon to power through the ranks and become the best Pokémon Trainer your local area has ever seen.

Becoming the best Pokémon Trainer you can possibly be is the ultimate goal. But to do that, you have to have enough Experience Points (XP) to be able to hit each level target, therefore moving onto the next level in order to repeat the process. The system is simple enough, and one that has been integrated into many games before this one, but it doesn’t detract from the fact that it can take a relatively long time to achieve, as well as the fact that as humans, we are naturally inpatient and want to power up as quickly as possible. Thankfully, that is possible with Pokémon farming techniques like the one shown in the video embedded at the end of this article. Here’s the gist:
Step 1: You collect as many low-level Pokémon as humanly possible. That includes Pokémon like Ratta, Pidgey, Spearow, and Zubat. These are the Pokémon that appear the most often and allow you to build up a strong army pretty quickly. And of course, capturing each of those Pokémon results in more Candy being added to your inventory against each type.
Step 2: Obtain a Lucky Egg. These are the eggs that basically double your received XP for a period of thirty-minutes. Any XP that you receive when one is active, such as 50 XP for visiting a PokéStop, or 500 XP for evolving a Pokémon, will be doubled when a Lucky Egg is active.
Step 3: Now, the next step is relatively simple. With the Lucky Egg active, and with a large collection of low-level Pokémon and relevant Candy in tow, go mad and evolve as many of those Pokémon as possible. You can do so by visiting your captured Pokémon, selecting one, and then hitting the Evolve button.
And there you have it. Each evolved Pokémon is worth 500 XP. With the Lucky Egg active, that doubles to 1000 XP for thirty-minutes. Each evolve process from start to finish should take roughly 30-seconds, meaning that you should be able to evolve 60 Pokémon in thirty-minutes if you have enough to evolve. That should equate to approximately 60,000 XP in one thirty-minute period.
